Skin Laxity & Sagging Firming Program
A doctor-guided, non-surgical program designed to improve mild-to-moderate skin laxity and support firmer facial contours using selected technologies such as HIFU, radiofrequency and collagen-stimulation treatments.
About Skin Laxity & Sagging Firming Program
““Support collagen. Improve firmness. Redefine facial contours naturally.””
Skin Laxity & Sagging Firming at KAC
Skin laxity develops gradually as collagen, elastin and structural support change with age.
Common signs include:
Softer jawline definition
Early jowling
Looser lower cheeks
Mild neck laxity
Reduced skin firmness
Fine lines and texture changes
At Karthika’s Aesthetic Centre, we do not treat every case of facial sagging with the same device.
The first step is to understand where the laxity is coming from and how advanced it is.
For suitable clients, a personalised program may include:
HIFU
Focused ultrasound energy may support deeper collagen stimulation and selected lifting concerns.
Radiofrequency
Controlled thermal energy may support skin tightening, collagen remodelling and gradual firmness improvement.
RF Microneedling
May be considered where laxity is accompanied by texture changes, pores or acne scarring.
EMS or supportive technologies
May be incorporated into selected treatment plans for additional facial toning support.
The purpose is to create progressive, natural-looking firmness, not an artificial facelift effect.

Treatment Procedures and Details
What Do We Assess?
Before treatment, we evaluate:
• Degree of laxity
Mild, moderate or advanced.
• Facial structure
Bone structure and soft-tissue distribution influence treatment response.
• Jawline & jowl area
Softness and loss of definition are assessed.
• Cheek support
Lower-face descent and cheek laxity are evaluated.
• Skin thickness
Different tissue characteristics require different settings and technologies.
• Collagen quality
Firmness, elasticity and texture are reviewed.
• Neck laxity
Where relevant, the neck and submental area are assessed.
• Previous procedures
Past HIFU, RF, threads, fillers or surgery should be reviewed.
The treatment strategy may then focus on:
Lift → Firm → Remodel → Maintain
How the Program Works
Stage 1 — Facial Assessment
Skin laxity, facial structure and treatment history are reviewed.
Stage 2 — Primary Collagen Treatment
HIFU or another deeper collagen-stimulation treatment may be selected where appropriate.
Stage 3 — Firming Support
RF sessions may be added to support skin firmness and texture.
Stage 4 — Surface & Recovery Support
LED, ultrasound infusion or other supportive treatments may be incorporated if needed.
Stage 5 — Progress Review
Because collagen remodelling is gradual, results are reviewed over several weeks or months.
Stage 6 — Maintenance
Maintenance frequency is decided according to age, treatment response and ongoing skin changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can non-surgical treatment completely correct sagging? No. Mild-to-moderate laxity may improve, but significant tissue descent may require surgical evaluation. What is best for skin laxity: HIFU or RF? Neither is universally “best.” They work differently and may be selected or combined according to tissue depth, laxity and skin condition. Can HIFU improve jowls? In suitable clients, HIFU may support improved firmness and contour around the lower face and jawline. Does RF help loose skin? RF may support collagen stimulation and gradual improvement in skin firmness. Will I look dramatically lifted after one session? No. Energy-based collagen treatments generally produce progressive rather than surgical-level change. When do results develop? Some early firmness may be noticed sooner, while collagen remodelling continues over several weeks or months. Is there downtime? Many non-invasive RF and HIFU treatments involve minimal downtime, though temporary tenderness, redness or sensitivity can occur. Can it treat neck laxity? Selected technologies may be used on appropriate neck areas after clinical assessment. Will this replace a facelift? No. Significant sagging or advanced tissue descent may require surgical treatment for meaningful correction.
